When to call us

Situations where we can help

  • You have a part but no technical drawings.
  • You need to modify an existing part (fit, holes or dimensions).
  • You want to document critical parts before they fail.
  • You have an idea or sketch and need a 3D model for manufacture.

What we do

3D scanning & modelling: what is included

Reverse engineering

Measure and reconstruct the geometry of existing parts as an editable CAD model.

Modelling from a sketch

From a hand-drawn sketch or idea to a 3D model ready for printing or manufacture.

Modifications & improvements

Adjust dimensions, reinforce weak areas or adapt a part for a new use.

Manufacturing files

We deliver the model in a format suitable for the next step, such as 3D printing or machining.

How it works

Frequently asked questions

Common questions

What is the difference between scanning and modelling?

Scanning captures the shape of an existing part. Modelling builds or rebuilds an editable 3D model. For technical parts, we combine both approaches according to the precision required.

Will I receive the 3D file?

Yes. When modelling is included, the file is yours. We specify the delivery formats in the proposal.

Do I need to bring the part in?

It depends on the part and the precision required. We can often assess photos and measurements first. If we need to inspect the part, we will arrange this with you.
